Global and Local Developments in Biosimilar Drugs on AnkaTheraHub’s Agenda

AnkaTheraHub organizes its 7th Scientific Meeting, where important issues regarding the biosimilar drug industry will be discussed, with the theme of “Unlocking the Potential of Biosimilars in Türkiye: Innovation, Access and Future Trends”. The event will bring together experts to discuss critical topics such as biosimilar drug production processes, regulatory frameworks, opportunities and challenges in Türkiye in depth. The future of biosimilar drugs will be discussed in detail in the light of biotechnological developments.

The opening speech of the event will be given by AnkaTheraHub Director Prof. Dr. Hakan Akbulut. Afterwards, Julie Maréchal from Medicines for Europe Association will give a presentation on biosimilar drug manufacturing and regulatory processes in Europe. Then, Alexandra Moulson Chief strategy & Portfolio Officer at Polpharma Biologics will speak about the development of biosimilar drugs and strategic developments in this field.

Dr. Hakkı Gürsöz, Former President of the TITCK who will also moderate the event, will make his presentation titled “Biosimilar Regulations in Türkiye”.
