AnkaTheraHub IPA project Kick-off Meeting Held in Ankara

On May 31, 2023, the kick-off meeting of the AnkaTheraHub (Ankara Innovative Theranostics Development Center) project was held at the Ankara University Cebeci campus in Ankara, Türkiye. AnkaTheraHub is established within the scope of the Competitive Sectors Programme carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, funded within the framework of the financial cooperation of the European Union and the Republic of Türkiye.

The meeting was attended by all the project stakeholders, i.e. the representatives from Ankara University, Ministry of Industry and Technology, the consortium leader Sistem Global, and the four consortium partners Acondicionamiento Tarrasense Technological Centre (LEITAT), International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL), ALACRIS Theranostics GmbH, and Scientific Network Management S.L.

The meeting began with the introductions of all participants. Following the introductions, the group engaged in a discussion regarding the responsibilities of each party involved in the project. Next, a comprehensive overview of the contract was provided. The afternoon session focused on operational matters, including the establishment of visibility rules, monitoring of the contract, and addressing the financial procedures. Dr. Pascal Kahlem, the IPA project’s Technical Assistance Team Leader, then formally introduced the Technical Assistance Team (TAT) and the Contractor. Finally, the meeting concluded with a discussion on the inception period work plan, which included a proposed meeting schedule.

All parties involved were committed to working together to make the AnkaTheraHub IPA project a success, as a cornerstone in the establishment of the AnkaTheraHub Centre.
